This time of year, I just keep weaving, and weaving, and weaving to build up my inventory for the coming show season. It’s nice to weave light, lacy fabrics when it’s cold out – it makes spring seem right around the corner. Of course this year, we had a week of summer [...] I’ve worked with Tammy’s Silver Linings colorway before. I’ve woven rayon chenille scarves, tencel scarves, and bamboo scarves with it. It’s always a hit with customers. When it became available in a bamboo-tencel blend, I had to give it a try. The delicate colors of Silver Linings call out to me for handwoven lace. [...] Still a bit under the weather, although improving (I only took 5 naps yesterday), I’m happy to share things I wove just before the creeping crud (aka RSV) hit. Tammy’s colorway Berries is a new one to me. I ordered it in my order-red-yarn frenzy. In my usual fashion, I had her dye me some [...] I can do many things, but unless we’re talking about either dandelions or daisies, I can’t weave with flowers, as the name of this post might imply.
