I finished weaving KM & SB’s custom baby wraps today. With a cottolin warp for both and a cottolin weft for KM, the amount of lint under my loom was intense! She’s my first mom who decided on hand painted yarn for her weft. This yarn was custom dyed for us by Susan at iowaweaver – the same woman who inspired my turned taquete towels! How cool is that?! Looking at […] I got KM’s wrap started. She asked me to weave the tails with a different color pattern. The rest of the weft is all black. I’m now about halfway through the weaving. I have a long meeting to go to tomorrow, so I don’t expect to be able to finish it and move on […] I’ve woven, wet finished, labeled, and mailed the custom baby wraps for MG & TA.
