Today I got the last two bouts of ED & WL’s warps wound. Bout 3 was pale yellow to pale green to turquoise. The last bout was turquoise to peacock. Apparently I didn’t take any pix of it. I thought if the waves weaving was going to work at all, it’d be stretched in hoops. So without spending any real time in placement, I simply stuck 3 hoops on the piece and hung it over my full glass […] I was away from home all day yesterday and have a day full of commitments tomorrow, so I really wanted to get as much as possible of EL’s wrap woven today. It always makes me happy when, late in the afternoon, the rainbow created by the big crystal hanging in my window lands […] Sometimes decisions are taken out of our hands. It’s just the way life is. As planned, I finished weaving ML’s wrap today. Went to the shipment of Egyptian cotton I’d received for EL’s wrap and wound a bobbin. Then I started winding a second bobbin, when I finally paid attention to what my hands […] I started weaving the baby wraps. I wove a few motifs with scrap yarn to spread the warp and find & correct any threading errors. Then I started weaving with AN’s black cotton weft. It gave each of the six warp colors a pop.
