My customers are my best spokespeople. What they have to say about the products they buy speaks volumes. And some of those who don’t share their words speak with their wallets, making repeat purchases for years. But since you can’t hear from them, the best I can do is give you some tidbits from people who buy and use my handwoven scarves, shawls, household items, and baby items.
My customers always have the option of leaving reviews on my Google+ page, so feel free to visit there, too!

The “new blankie” has officially been accepted into my son’s life. He now must have both with him all the time, especially at bed time. On top of that, he seems content having only the new blankie if the old one is not around or in the wash. He even calls them both “Woogie,” which is “old blankie’s” name. All of my family members have remarked at how beautiful the new blanket is and we are all impressed on how it is almost identical to the old one. You are a miracle worker!

I want to thank you so much for the lovely cotton flannel baby blanket! The blanket is a baby shower gift for my husband’s niece, who is expecting her first baby later this year in England. I know she and her husband will fall in love with this special blanket, and it will be handed down from one baby to the next!

The cotton chenille scarf arrived yesterday, and it is beautiful! Just what I wanted. As it turns out, I was wearing a violet sweater with a deeper purple turtleneck underneath, so I just put the scarf on and voila! Even my husband who doesn’t often comment on my clothes said: ‘Wow. That’s pretty.’

Peg and I went on quite a unique journey together, and that journey had such a spectacular ending! Her dedication, communication, and willingness to venture into unknown territory was truly a blessing. She created something for us that we will treasure throughout multiple generations. I know that our custom baby wrap was made with hands that are just as loving as my own aspirations in creating something that, to our family, means closeness, warmth, and love. She truly listened and had such fabulous and warm communication. Peg’s work is beautiful and, given the chance, I would be honored to work with her again!

I’m so ecstatic to have happened upon Peg’s website as I was perusing Google’s search engine for different colored wefts. In speaking with Peg, I was one of the first mamas who reached out to her to create a custom baby blanket/wrap.
Peg’s attention to detail, and most importantly, safety, is what stood out for me and made me extremely comfortable in working with her. Not only is the craftsmanship of her wraps top notch (no weaver’s knots, issues with selveges, broken threads here), she wanted to ensure she was compliant with BCIA, had the right density of fabric for her creations to safely carry babies, and each detail down to the hem of the ends of the wrap (hand hemmed vs machine) was tested and evaluated. Her communication was prompt, friendly, and she was very realistic with her capabilities and what she was willing to promise.
I had the privilege of providing feedback on 2 different testers and finally ended up with my 4.8m custom at 24epi sett. This was actually a step down in density from the thinner tester that arrived, but I was very happy with this density. It was hard to tell much of a difference between the 24 and 28 and I wouldn’t be sad if it was thinner (although I’m extremely happy with my custom – it provides rock solid support for my heavy toddler). Not much stretch length or horizontal-wise. But HUGE stretch diagonally and the feel of the fabric is super soft, making it super comfy to wear! The wrap texture glides over itself, making wrapping very comfortable, even with the thicker density testers I had. I love how this wrap gets smooshier and easier to wrap with the more times you use it.. It’s like it conforms to you and your baby’s body.
After receiving Peg’s first tester, I quickly booked a 2nd custom spot as I new her w raps would be popular in the baby wearing world.. it’s tough to find the quality of work she has with the fun weaving options she provides. I’m looking forward to working with Peg again soon.
