Or while I was tying on to the front apron.  Not until I wove the first pattern, at which point it became glaringly obvious.  This warp is threaded at 24 ends per inch, 2 per dent in my 12 dent reed.  But there I&#8217;d threaded 2 dents with only 1 thread each.<\/p>\n<p>The mistake was in almost the middle of a 31&#8243; warp.  I thought about it for about 30 seconds and decided I couldn&#8217;t let it stand.  I had to re-thread that reed, from the mistake out to the right selvedge.  Poop!<\/p>\n<p>Nothing to be done but to just do it.  Then I set about weaving to make me feel better.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/secondwindjewelry.com\/jewelry-weaving-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/TA-started.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/secondwindjewelry.com\/jewelry-weaving-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/TA-started.jpg\" alt=\"TA&#039;s 1st warp started\" width=\"450\" height=\"338\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5970\" srcset=\"https:\/\/secondwindjewelry.com\/jewelry-weaving-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/TA-started.jpg 450w, https:\/\/secondwindjewelry.com\/jewelry-weaving-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/TA-started-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/secondwindjewelry.com\/jewelry-weaving-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/TA-started-150x112.jpg 150w, https:\/\/secondwindjewelry.com\/jewelry-weaving-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/TA-started-400x300.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The black cottolin &#8212; CORRECTION: Egyptian cotton &#8212; weft sets off the colors nicely.  I managed to get about 1\/3 of this warp woven today.
