Ok, my daughter really owns the house, but <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dailybaxter.com\" target= \"_blank\">Baxter<\/a> rules it.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-464\" title=\"red-baxter\" src=\"https:\/\/secondwindjewelry.com\/jewelry-weaving-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/08\/red-bax-300x222.jpg\" alt=\"red-baxter\" width=\"300\" height=\"222\" srcset=\"https:\/\/secondwindjewelry.com\/jewelry-weaving-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/08\/red-bax-300x222.jpg 300w, https:\/\/secondwindjewelry.com\/jewelry-weaving-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/08\/red-bax.jpg 450w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>Since they&#8217;d had such a good time playing in the country, my little guy, Red, wanted to visit Bax&#8217;s in the city, even if it meant putting up with a long car ride.  After Baxter got over running around the yard like a madman, the two dogs really enjoyed just being together. \u00c2\u00a0Yeah, they weren&#8217;t really playing together, just hanging out, but that&#8217;s because Baxter is fairly obsessive about chewing sticks.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/secondwindjewelry.com\/jewelry-weaving-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/08\/bax-wood-278x300.jpg\" alt=\"baxter-with-wood\" title=\"baxter-with-wood\" width=\"278\" height=\"300\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-466\" srcset=\"https:\/\/secondwindjewelry.com\/jewelry-weaving-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/08\/bax-wood-278x300.jpg 278w, https:\/\/secondwindjewelry.com\/jewelry-weaving-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/08\/bax-wood.jpg 418w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 278px) 100vw, 278px\" \/>And not just sticks, but whole pieces of firewood!<\/p>\n<p>We didn&#8217;t get to see the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dailybaxter.com\/post\/79433401\/see-how-weird-they-are-the-hissing-and-the\" target = \"_blank\">laser cats<\/a> &#8211; they think Red is really scary, all 16 pounds of him, and disappear as soon as they catch sight of him.<\/p>\n<p>Unlike Baxter.  Not only did he greet us with much enthusiasm, he checked in frequently to make sure everyone had plenty of opportunities to pet his <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dailybaxter.com\/post\/168340615\/mmmmm-i-look-good-i-mean-really-good-hey\" target= \"_blank\">newly-groomed coif<\/a>.
