I had to get used to treadling the Varpa, and had to pay attention to 360 threads to make sure I wasn’t making weaving errors. I threaded in a rosepath pattern, treadled in a variety of patterns, and got 32 booksmarks woven.
\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/secondwindjewelry.com\/jewelry-weaving-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/Aug-bookmarks.jpg\" alt=\"August bookmarks\" title=\"August-bookmarks\" width=\"450\" height=\"338\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4015\" srcset=\"https:\/\/secondwindjewelry.com\/jewelry-weaving-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/Aug-bookmarks.jpg 450w, https:\/\/secondwindjewelry.com\/jewelry-weaving-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/Aug-bookmarks-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/secondwindjewelry.com\/jewelry-weaving-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/Aug-bookmarks-150x112.jpg 150w, https:\/\/secondwindjewelry.com\/jewelry-weaving-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/Aug-bookmarks-400x300.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/a>
\nThat made me feel good.<\/p>\n
So now I’ve wound a warp of 170 ends of natural 8\/2 tencel and have beamed it on the counterbalance.
