So I wanted to use it again in a different fiber.<\/p>\n<p>I decided on some lovely rayon I have, using a dark forest green for the majority of the warp and all of the weft, with the stripes being a pale blue offset by lavender.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/secondwindjewelry.com\/jewelry-weaving-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/green-stripes.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/secondwindjewelry.com\/jewelry-weaving-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/green-stripes.jpg\" alt=\"handwoven rayon scarves, green stripes\" title=\"handwoven-rayon-scarves-green-stripes\" width=\"450\" height=\"338\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2867\" srcset=\"https:\/\/secondwindjewelry.com\/jewelry-weaving-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/green-stripes.jpg 450w, https:\/\/secondwindjewelry.com\/jewelry-weaving-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/green-stripes-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/secondwindjewelry.com\/jewelry-weaving-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/green-stripes-150x112.jpg 150w, https:\/\/secondwindjewelry.com\/jewelry-weaving-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/green-stripes-400x300.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>If someone showed me this scarf and the orange &#038; cream cashmere, I&#8217;d have to pay attention to see that they used the same threading &#038; treadling pattern.  That fact wouldn&#8217;t jump out at me.<\/p>\n<p>Colors do funny things.  That lavender turns almost completely into pink next to that light blue and crossed by the green.  It&#8217;s so clearly lavender on its own, and still looked mostly lavender when I threaded the heddles.<\/p>\n<p>In the end, I don&#8217;t know that I can say which finished scarf I like better; they&#8217;re so different, and each has its own charm.  I&#8217;ll be interested to get customer reactions this weekend at the <a href=\"http:\/\/kenancraftshow.com\" target=\"_blank\">100 American Craftsmen <\/a>show.
