I’m a crazy woman, I know. I can’t seem to help myself. At 4:30PM on Monday I drove to the post office to pick up a package I had to sign for – 6 cones of mohair I’d ordered. In the space of 21 days between May 22 and June 8 I have two shows — Routes to Art and Kenan Center’s 100 American Craftsmen — a major fundraiser for Pfeiffer Nature Center where I [...] I just took these three scarves off my lovely, little counterbalance loom. The fiber is a wool-silk blend that was hand painted by the talented Tammy of Yarntopia Treasures. This is a colorway she calls Snow White. I really like the fact that this fiber has a handspun look and feel to it [...] On Saturday, before the bee man came, I headed to East Aurora to the Knox Farm Fiber Festival.
