Early this month I got a repeat order from one of my customers. She wanted me to make her a baby blanket, in blue and white, out of bamboo cotton. Some months ago she’d purchased one in pink and cream for a baby girl. She loved the look, and the softness of the [...] I love producing rayon scarves. I like their drape and the fact that rayon is made from cellulose. So I went to my stash. I had some lovely handpainted rayon boucle from Tammy in a colorway she calls Surreal. She’d done some custom dyeing for me, with a coordinating navy-black yarn. So I [...] My wonderful son spent the weekend with me. He’s kind, easy-going, fun, hard working, and quite talented. He designed and built that wonderful cone rack a few weeks ago. This weekend I was almost out of firewood and we were in the middle of a late March cold snap.
