At least sometimes that title is true. This time, maybe not so much. I decided I needed to weave a batch of bookmarks before that little, local show, making sure I had something small and easily affordable. So I warped up the loom and wove 25 bookmarks. I chose to use mostly bits of hand painted [...] As soon as I say “always” or “never” — as in, “I always do X” or “I never do Y” I’m reminded of how untrue that is. I got about 18″ of the second rayon chenille scarf woven when all of a sudden it hit me. I wasn’t really weaving tabby. Way back in December I started some pick up weaving on my rigid heddle loom specifically for this purpose. I finally finished the weaving in May.
