Using my leg-elevated-while-weaving setup, I was able to get some weaving done by working in short spurts. These scarves were handwoven from that beautiful hand painted yarn from Yarntopia Treasures. Although I got this marvelous color combination in both 100% bamboo and in Tencel, I chose to do the bamboo first. Why? Because it’s [...] I’m keeping my promise to batch up the recent scarves I’ve woven instead of doing a separate post for each. This color of 100% bamboo yarn is called Cloud. And these scarves are as soft as clouds. The silkiness and drape of bamboo, combined with the fact that it’s eco-friendly, make handwoven bamboo scarves a real hit. [...] This is another set of three bamboo scarves I’ve recently woven. I just love working with Bambu 7 – it’s so smooth and silky, so easy to wind on the back beam, and finishes so nicely. On the downside, the 100% bamboo yarn does split easily, so I have to pay attention when I’m threading the [...] In addition to those gorgeous handwoven cashmere and silk scarves, I also wove this set of three striped scarves. Woven from 100% bamboo yarn, these scarves share the same warp – randomly spaced stripes of ivory, honey, gold, and navy blue.
