Handwoven Scarves Wool & Alpaca
I find the intricacies of the weave in this wool and alpaca scarf to be just right - enough to keep my eyes occupied without making me dizzy. The golden weft and sage green warp work wonderfully, resulting in a wool scarf that's as wonderfully warm as it is beautiful. Both yarns are a 50/50 blend of wool and alpaca.
This handwoven scarf is thick and warm, yet it retains flexibility. It is sure to keep you warm on the coldest days, and nights!
I love the fact that the yarns I used to weave this wool and alpaca scarf were all hand dyed by yarn artists just a few miles from my home. It's even better that these talented women use only natural plant and vegetable dye materials, ensuring that your scarf is eco-friendly.
This handwoven wool and alpaca scarf is a generous 9" wide and 72" long, plus 3" of knotted fringe at each end. Wrap it once or twice, keyhole it, wear it long and loose, or use any other style to show your fashion sense.
Like all wool scarves, hand wash this one in cool water and dry it flat, or send it to the dry cleaner.
