Handwoven Scarves Wool & Acrylic
Gold & Gray
Using the same warp and the same weave pattern as the Golden Sage wool scarf, this one has a different look. The heathered gray acrylic yarn is given a bluish hue by the golden wool and alpaca warp - an interesting interplay of colors and fabrics.
This handwoven scarf is quite thick and warm, and will surely stop any cold wind that tries to get to your neck this winter.
The gold wool and alpaca weft yarn was hand dyed with all-natural plant materials by two nearby fiber artists. It's therefore quite eco-friendly as well as stylish.
This wool scarf is 9" wide and 56" long - a fairly traditional muffler size. A single wrap or a simple knot are its best wear options.
Although this scarf is half acrylic, treat it like wool: wash it in cool water and dry it flat, or take it to the dry cleaner.
