When I was a girl, I lusted after the mohair sweaters that all the popular girls had. I never got one. Maybe that's why I can't resist weaving with this luxurious yarn. I ordered it in several colors, which I'll weave up as soon as I can. If you want to special order a handwoven mohair scarf in a different color, contact me to see what colors I have.
This mohair scarf has a stripe of silver along each edge, surrounding a wide band of clear blue. These two colors, reminiscent of the winter sky, are sure to brighten your winter coat or sweater, and your spirits.
Although it's very lightweight, the hairiness of the mohair makes the scarf extremely warm. It is hand made from yarn that is 78% mohair, 13% nylon, and 9% wool.
This Blue & Silver Mohair handwoven scarf is 8" wide and 78" long, plus fringe -- plenty of scarf to keep you warm when the temperatures are frigid.
Wash the scarf gently in cool water and dry it flat. Or take it to the dry cleaner if you prefer.
