Handwoven Infinity Scarves

Infinity scarves are hot, a fashion must-have. And with good reason. Infinity scarves are easy to wear - never worry about your scarf falling off while you're shopping, or about the ends dangling in your soup. This endless scarf can be simply draped over your neck in a single loop, hanging down to your waist. Or pull down on the back to have it hanging evenly in front and back.

For a bit more control, wrap the scarf once around your head, and you've got a two-loop look that combines beautifully with most styles. Wear this infinity scarf with V-necks or turtlenecks, under your blazer or over your jacket, and you'll look like a fashion plate.

If your neck is chilly, wrap your infinity scarf around a third time to create a great cowl. This look works well both with turtlenecks and open necks.

Wider infinity scarves offer even more options: pull a loop up over your head for a softly draping hood that won't mess your hair. Don't put it over your head, but instead put both arms through it to create a little bolero.

And of course, infinity scarves are fashion forward.

The scarves shown here are all lightweight, perfect for three-season wear. I'll also happily make a custom endless scarf just for you in warmer fabrics, wider widths, or different colors. Contact me and we'll discuss the colors and fabrics, sizes and weights, that will make your perfect handwoven infinity scarf.

Blue Violet Bamboo Cotton Infinity Scarf

This beautiful hand painted bamboo cotton yarn contains all the colors you'd find on traditional violet plants - the blues and purples of the petals and the dark green of those plush leaves. No need to provide this scarf with the tender loving care that your houseplant needs, though - it's made to last for years with only minor attention. That's one of the many benefits of buying my handwoven and hand hemmed scarves.

This scarf was woven with the same blue violet yarn for both warp and weft, resulting in the checked pattern. This infinity scarf is 7 1/2" wide and 72" long, so you can use your sense of style in lots of ways. The fiber is very soft and flexible, and the colors make this a great fashion accessory, adding beauty to your outfits.

I prefer hand laundering all my handwovens. You can iron it, or fluff it in the dryer, if you'd like.

About Infinity Scarves

It doesn't matter whether you call it an infinity scarf, an endless loop scarf, a mobius scarf*, or something else, these scarves are great! If you've been hesitant to buy scarves because you think you don't know how to wrap them, get an infinity scarf - it couldn't be easier. I've shown a few options here, but there are plenty more. And the wider the scarf, the more options you have.

These handwoven scarves are made in fibers that are exceptionally soft and flexible, so they'll happily conform to whatever shape you choose to give them.

*Mobius scarf - think back to your old geometry classes. A mobius strip is a loop that has a twist in it. Put your pencil anywhere in the middle of that on that loop and without lifting your pencil trace down the center of the loop. You'll eventually cover both sides of the strip and arrive back at the beginning. It's like magic!

handwoven moccasin infinity scarf

Moccasin Bamboo Cotton Infinity Scarf

The lovely earthtones in this handwoven infinity scarf are beautiful. The fibers are all hand painted , ensuring that they blend in the bamboo cotton fiber as naturally as they do on the bark of a tree. For this particular scarf, the variegated moccasin warp is woven with a solid chocolate weft, creating the colorful stripes you see here.

The bamboo cotton yarn is also remarkably flexible, draping beautifully in the many ways you can wear your infinity scarf. This scarf is 7 1/2" wide and 72 inches long, providing you with lots of options, a few of which are shown at left.

Like my other infinity scarves, not only is it handwoven, this scarf is hand hemmed. I sew the seam itself on a machine to ensure that it's strong and secure, but then close in the raw edges with blind hand hemming. Just one more touch that makes my scarves the highest quality.

Like most of my scarves, I recommend hand laundering. Feel free to fluff it in the dryer, if you'd like.

Green Bamboo Infinity Scarf

Bamboo is a wonderful fiber. It breathes like cotton, drapes like silk, and is very environmentally friendly. When you wear this handwoven infinity scarf, you'll be showing that you're eco-friendly as well as fashion forward.

This handmade infinity scarf is handwoven from 100% bamboo in a soft, cool, minty green. Much wider than the other scarves on this page, this mobius scarf is 18" wide and 72" long. This increases your wrapping options to include pulling it up over your head to create a loose hood.

Also unlike the others shown here, there is no sewing in this handmade scarf - the endless loop is creating by the double-twisting of the fringe, twisting and knotting together threads from both ends of the scarf.

I recommend hand laundering this scarf and all my handwovens. Feel free to fluff it in the dryer if you like. You can dry clean if you prefer.

Think Pink Infinity Scarf

This handwoven infinity scarf is a fairly bright pink and white. It works well if you're really girly, or a woman who's really confident, or just someone who likes bright colors near her face. This mobius scarf was hand made from a lovely hand painted yarn in a color blend called Think Pink. Wear it with your skinny jeans or your little black dress for a great fashion accessory, or just to give a little warmth to your neck when the soft winds blow.

Handwoven from a bamboo-cotton blend (2/3 bamboo, 1/3 cotton), this infinity scarf is remarkably soft and flexible, and at the same time it's very eco-friendly. This endless loop scarf is 7" wide and 72" long.

I recommend hand laundering this scarf and all my handwovens. Feel free to fluff it in the dryer if you like. You can dry clean if you prefer.

Olive Oil Infinity Scarf

As a product of nature, the many shades of olive oil are very earthy. So are the colors in this hand painted blend of bamboo and cotton yarn. This fiber blend provides the best qualities of both fabrics - bamboo's environmentally friendly nature and drape, along with cotton's easy care.

Handwoven in a V twill pattern, this infinity scarf is 7" wide and 72" long. It's weight and breathability make it perfect for spring, summer, and fall wear outdoors, or for a great indoor fashion accessory any time of the year.

Like all my handwoven scarves, I recommend hand washing this mobius scarf. When it's mostly dry, you can toss it in the dryer to make sure it's nice and fluffy. Of course, you can always dry clean it.
